Guga Morales is an experienced artists specialised in juggling and street theater. Although he studied at the National Circus School in Brazil, he believes that busking shaped him as an artist. Ricardo Róch and Henrik Jespersen met many years ago in Mexico. They play trance with roots in the Méxican music and Moroccan Gnaoua with a little touch from the nordic sky. Henrik on EWI/SopSax and Ricardo on guitar create unusual sounds that you won’t hear on the commercial radio.

Ian Deadly is a British juggler, actor, one-time flying trapese catcher, acrobat, mime and above all – street performer. For the last ten years his only paycheck has been his hat. Ian is going to amaze and astound you with the unexpected: a child, a grown man, a couple – he explores their abilities, combined with his desire to create new and old scenes, reworked with a twist. He takes the audience and leads them through a journey: improvising and experimenting with the individuals, to create tragi-comic scenes of real life intensity.

IgnisDraconis.Vienna consists of fire dancers with burning heart and passion. They’re going to perform in BuskerBus for the first time. Their show is a combination of many elements: dance, acrobatics, fire theatre and soap bubbles. Nikita specializes in fire staff and smuggles a touch of martial arts practice to the performance. Clara loves dancing with levi stick and soap bubbles, and Charlie amazes the audience with a flaming hula hoop.

Matthias grew up travelling around New Zealand with his parents’ circus. He delivers an action packed show full of mad skills: juggling, manipulation, audience participation and impressive balancing. His signature act is finished by precariously balancing on top of a dangerous and seemingly impossible stack of pipes and rolls whilst juggling razor sharp machetes or flaming torches.

Their multicultural background (French, Italian and Portuguese) shapes their sound into a mixture of chanson francaise, swing, balkan and afro-latin rhythms. The result is an exciting and sparkly music that is hard not to dance to. A tight and groovy rhythm section (drums, bass, accordion and ukulele) keeps your feet moving while the trumpet and saxophone, jumping from powerful themes to inspired improvisations, take the audience to an unpredictable journey through many musical traditions. Warm and colourful vocal lines and harmonies, sung both in French and Italian, approach the themes of love, fate and identity in a philosophical, yet playful way.

Russian roulette is a mobile street show closed in a small suitcase. Pan Ząbek is a talented illusionist who builds his perfomance on the interaction with the viewers. That means that despite a general scenario, every time the audience can experience something unique. During his show Pan Ząbek uses pickpocketing skill. In the final he leaves his fate in the hands of the audience. It’s time for the russian roullete! One person chooses which props should be eliminated knowing that Some of them may be dangerous. Artist builds a horro atmosphere but at the end everything turns to be just a joke. Russian roulette is a family show that will entertain both kids and adults.

Philip Fairweather is an actor and singer from Exeter in England, who has been based in Wroclaw since 2003, where he has become a well-known figure on the local music scene, appearing on TV, Radio and at several protional events for the city. A regular street performer for over 30 years, he first began busking aged 14 in 1986 as a “Saturday job”. In 1995, he took it up full time and toured over 20 countries in Europe. Philip first became involved with BuskerBus in 1999 and has been to every festival since. From 2009, he has hosted and coordinated the BuskerBus Cabaret on each evening of the festival.

The klezmer duo Ruach is made up of Dorothea Hegeduess (clarinet) and Bogusław (guitar and mandolin) Hegeduess. They work together on old Jewish tunes, which Dorothea learned as a child from her father, also a musician. Trattofon, a duo from Sweden, debuted at BuskerBus last year. Marija and Jerry charmed the youngest audience with their smiles and circus skills. Su and Marta is a couple of Polish friends, who got bonded to each other by the passion for performing and diabolo jugglery. They created a cheerful artistic duo, which works together, performs, and first of all – amuses the audience. They are working hard to evaluate and improve their show. They love the audience and will never let you get bored, constantly surprising with funny gags and intriguing tricks. Su and Marta perform at various events, do juggling workshops, and Marta, in addition, professionally paints children’s faces, so they can change into their favourite fairytale character, and not only that.
